Mighty Fine Early Birthday

What I wanted more than anything for my birthday was tickets.

I'm not even gonna address the issue that most of you reading this are thinking,
"Seriously?
Sarah.
Seriously."

You don't even know how talented these guys are (two grammys are no joke), and how stinking funny. It was a huge splurge for us... but I really, REALLY wanted it. I made a decision to introduce my kids to live performances at this concert. They have practically worn out the "Woody's Round Up" CD, and were very excited to hear the songs in person.

I enjoyed every stinking minute of that two hours. I only wish Dad could have been there to hear "Cool Water" and "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" and "Ghost Riders in the Sky."
They came out afterward, and signed autographs. Note: observe the position of Bo's mouth. Not silent with awe. Not at all. Emma buried her face in my hip for this part of the evening.
So now Ranger Doug, Idol of American Youth, Woody Paul, King of the Cowboy Fiddlers, Too Slim and Joey the CowPolka King have a place in Bo's room.

In other framing news...

Rings true.

Now to figure out where to put it.
