HELP

Need some inspo ya'lls.

New job is an adjustment.

I can stay up tonight, and I just feel like sleeping.

If I do that, then that's another whole evening gone.

I must needs create a few things, but it's all old to me.

Ya feel me?

so drained.

I have nothing to give but hints for upcoming raks and suches:

They are having a DT call and lots of giveaways for birthday fun!

And you really oughta stalk the skulls. I'm just saying.

This is me doing laundry

I love, love, love, love and yea even, love this picture of emma. Taken yesterday on our last "just-a-you-and-me-day" together in which we got nails and hair done, shopped and lunched.

Bo with the Bearded Dragon at Reptile Rescue. So brave!! (seriously, you have no idea how proud I am of him. He is growing so fast, and doing so well with the major changes we've put upon him...ie a new and completely different school the last three weeks of the school year.)
For Sarah B's challenge at ScrapinStyleTV.
Which, by the way, is the new time drain. Scrap Jack of the fabulous Ashley.

I've Been Bit

By the flea market bug.
Again.

Donna and I went on Saturday, and I got this:

and this:

For 25 bucks.

And really, is there anything better than fries and funnel cake at 10:30 on a Saturday morning?

ok, ok, other than this:

But really, if I had the choice between flea market funnel cake and flea market sushi, I'm thinking flea market funnel cake is the wiser option.

Getting Official

Other than lounging on the beach, I have done a couple of things to give myself residence here. I got a drivers license and a library card. Big stuff, ya'lls.
I showed Bo my drivers license and he said "Classy!" I was surprised and thrilled until he handed it back and I noticed that the top of the card read "Class E."

Emma got her first library card, and promptly checked out "The Princess and the Pauper" "Biscuit and the Baby" and "Angelina's Big Performance" on DVD.

I checked out this:

Come on. A novel involving William Blake. What's not to love? I have a week to read it, which gives me justification when I sink into it when I should be, oh, I don't know, organizing the closet. Still not feeling 100% (which also helps justify the reading) and am looking forward to actually feeling well again.

Making up the Lack

This is our living room in Texas the day before the truck came. Yes, we had a slipcover on that couch, thank you very much.
Bo and Emma on the way to the airport for their first airplane ride. Very exciting!

Bags at DFW. And Mom. Oh that reminds me! On Mother's Day, Missy took us out to dinner, and made a toast to "Those who bore me." Keep that in your pocket for next year. It's a dandy.
Miss you, Mom.

Thank the Lord for strong boys!

A wedding at the beach the day after we moved.

Emma at my scrap area down the hall.

Dining Area (Table courtesy of Susie and Buzzy- it was the first piece of furniture they bought, and it is gorgeous.)

Living Area

One of my new favs, and yes I'm lame for never really having it before. My sister is opening up my eyes to new things. And I'm sparing her from the one clear picture I have of her and mom and the restaurant, not that she would mention the lack of her photo on the blog or anything.

Edamame. Yum-O. That is Missy's hand snatching up the pods.

Lizards galore.

See the palm trees? (one in the front looks a little tired, but the one in the back is just to the right of the roof.)

A little Tooth Fairy Love. Isn't "Toothless" the cutest thing ever? Who does he remind you of?

Jacksonville=Home

There is just so much to say.
My heart is very full.

We made it.
I have no pictures to post.
No pictures of the palm trees in my front and back yard.
No pictures of the tons of people who came over to help and say hello the first few days.
No pictures of my kids at my sister's house.
No pictures of the beach.
No pictures of my wonderful house.
No pictures of Bo starting the new school this morning.
No pictures of Emma at Donna's table, eating and saying

"It's so good to be back in the church."

Yes, it is.
